Automatic Cutter - Cutter built
into machine that cuts tape to correct length when printing is complete.
Cartridge Free - Method of
printing without the need for a ribbon or ink cartridge.
CD Label Applicator - Special
tool facilitating easy application of CD labels.
Cleaning Card - Small label
card impregnated with solvent which can be passed through the printer
for the periodic cleaning of the print head.
D1 Tape - Tape format used
by the Dymo LabelMANAGER and LabelPOINT models.
D2 Tape - Tape format used
by the Dymo PC10 and LM9000 models. Two tape system allowing multi-colour
printing.
Incremental numbering - . Faciltiy
for the sequential numbering of labels.
Multiple Copies - The ability
to ask the machine to produce more than one copy of a label design
Permanent - Permanent high-strength
glue tapes.
Print Preview - Ability to
see your output before actually printing as it will appear on any
media when printed to ensure the output will be acceptable.
Semi-graphical - Digital display
with graphic-type technology.
Serial Connection - PC connection
not using USB technology which still allows use of the printer with
older PC's or PC's where a USB port is not available. Serial connections
provide a slower but acceptable speed of data transfer and can redfuce
the print rate of the printer.
Thermal Printing - Cartridge
free, straightforward method of printing employing heat to generate
images on the print media
Semi-permanent - Long-lasting
self-adhesive tapes that can be removed without leaving an adhesive
residue.
Template - Standard size and
layout provided within the software to enable quick and easy setting
up of different, popular label sizes.
USB - PC connection allowing
"Plug & Play" technology, making for very quick and easy set up
of any new hardware.
